What's Going On?

My, my, it's been awhile since I've written in here. Rather than try to tell you all the things I've been doing in the last five months, I'll just tell you what I'm up to now.

For the present, I'm doing some serious research into spiritual and energy healing in an effort to upgrade my skills as an energy healer. My local library has been a godsend of books on a variety of means and techniques for a plethora of modes of alternative healing. Amazon's Kindle books and Kindle for PC has also been very helpful. After trying to swallow all this information, I've decided to organize my learning efforts into more manageable sets, trying to keep it to one or two books at a time before moving forward.

So, that's whats going on. I'll try to be more active in my updates here, perhaps providing you with book titles and recommendations should you like to follow along.

Wayseers - Don't bother

While the Manifesto video is cool and gets one motivated, the site and group itself quickly devolved into another "pay-me-and-I'll-let-you-in-on-the-secret" site. There is now an inner core of "leaders" and the outer ring of "wannabes". There are some good people in there, and some good people who used to be in there. I used to be in there, but after assessing the emotional output versus the cash output, I decided to discontinue my membership.
One of the early ideas was the ability of members to speak their minds without fear of censorship or reprisals. I think that lasted a total of two weeks from the time the video came out.
It is the educated opinion of those of us who have left the "movement" that this is a social experiment for Mr. LoPortto to use for a new book. He is not the naive' puppy he pretends to be. He is the head Love Nazi and the primary talker in a group that promises movement, but has yet to go beyond the boundaries of the WilderNet.
In any case, it is my recommendation to anyone considering joining that you take advantage of the 21 free trial (if it is still offered) and pay close attention to your gut reactions. Anyone who is merely curious, don't bother. It's merely a waste of time you could spend doing other, more altruistic things.

Yes, I know. 11/11/11 11:11am is not here yet. But don't you think you ought to be ready for it?

I don't mean reading all those fluffy-bunny crystal-glowing white-light books you have on your reading-room walls. I mean those hard-core, learn-this-now-or-lose-out books, some of which were written long before the Grand Awakening was a glimmer in someone's eye. Psychic books and olde energy grimoires and ascended Masters channeling and automatic writing and...and...and...

Learning

I've begun to learn a couple new things, such as touch-typing, and automatic writing. The touch-typing will help with the automatic writing, as I'll be able to key things in without losing my concentration. I've already done a few a-w experiments and gotten some very interesting responses. I may share those later if people comment that they are interested.

One thing I have learned recently is that my life's purpose is to heal. I believe this means using the reiki and energy working skills I already possess, as well building my devices to help people heal. I also think I'm to build the devices that will help the Earth heal. It's only a matter of time, money, and a place to work. But, the Guides say that some of that has been taken care of. So, I only need to wait and see.

New Obsession

In my research for my current storyline, I ran across some interesting material on vampires. It took me on a tangent that I am enjoying. I've even found some forums that are more informative than the websites.
One of the forums asks what kind of vampire you are (for your profile). After looking up the various types of vampires, I've settled on Psychic - Sexual (Tantric)/Energy. I'm not really into blood letting or drinking.

I'll post more about this in the future. I'm still learning.

Has The World Gone Nuts?

This is not a new thing. Every day I read of violent deaths, but today just pushed me too far. First, a suicide bomber claims 35 lives at a Moscow airport. Then, 2 people are killed and two deputies hurt in a Washington (state) Walmart shoot-out. Fla., Ore, and Detroit all have cop killings. And on and on it goes.

War On Cops?

Now, I know that this year is a big one in New Age circles, what with the 11:11 Awakening. But I'm wondering if we'll find that all these people who died in the beginning of the year were the lucky ones?

Into the New Year

Well, so far, so good. A snowstorm and a flat tire are all I'm dealing with at the moment. Otherwise, all is well.

The writing is coming together. I've created a new genre I call Sphere, which stands for steam-punk horror erotic romance. It will be most interesting to see what comes of it.
