While the monk idea is still bubbling in my brain, other thoughts have also formed there that may prove to be much more useful in the near future. I ~had~ thought to take the monk idea to Second Life, but that would cost money I just don't have right now. Every scrap of money we have or get goes to the running of the house, and keeping the Internet connection up and running.
So, where does that leave me and my ideas for projects? High and dry, at present. The crowd-funding project was a bust, even though I made the requisite $100 for it to go public. I'll try that again in the future, once I have a better idea of what and how I need to run the project. More videos, definitely, and better updates.
Perhaps I'll try putting Dionysia up as a serial blog, posting once a week for however many weeks I can keep the story running. If I do a page a day, I've got enough material to keep it going for at least a month or so, I believe. I can also include author's notes, to explain how things came about and so forth. I have to do a little reading first, of the book called Around the Writer's Block: Using Brain Science to Solve Writer's Resistance
, which will help me get past this block I've had for nearly a year now. Well, not so much a year, as I've been able to write ~some~ things, but nothing I'd like to see in print just yet.
So, I have a goal (to write), and a plan (to read the block book), so we'll see how things go from here.
