Thought for the Day

Don't do anything by half. If you love someone, love them with all your soul. When you go to work, work your ass off. When you hate someone, hate them until it hurts.

A Very Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my 44th birthday. We had dinner over at my mother-in-laws and spent the evening fielding phone calls while watching "The Prestige". Two unexpected phone calls really made my day.
The first one was from my brother, Jonathan, whom I'd not spoken to in about 5 years. We talked for a good long time, mostly me listening to him talk about his family. Even so, I was good to hear from him, and by far that best present I got.
The second unexpected phone call was from a friend who lives much closer and we like to keep in touch with, the Lady Lucretia. While somewhat shorter than the conversation from my brother, it was unexpected and a delight, nonetheless.

To all who made my day truly special, I say thank you, once again.

Big Brother?

Today has been a very strange Net-wise. Sites that are normally strong and uncrashable have been presenting me with errors that crash my browsers. First Google had problems late this morning and early this afternoon. Now, Info Unlimited will not load on either Firefox or IE. I wonder if some of the other fringe science sights are experiencing the same outages?

Where does the time go...? Part 2

Clean the basement... Work in progress

Get stuff together for the yard sale at the end of May... Maybe

Finish getting our stuff out of Ana's friend's house... Done

Find a place for said stuff... Work in progress

Just wanted to let y'all know that. < grin >

Thought for Today

Humor lubricates and softens the spiritual life, and makes it bearable.

What to say?

What shall I share with you tonight? Should I share my fool-proof plan to rid the nation's cities of pollution and lower the CO2 content of the atmosphere? Should I share one of the two new vehicle motivation systems I've designed over the last couple years, one of which would blow any other competitor completely out of the water at the Automotive X Prize? Not to mention the full design of a car using one of those systems, somplete with a new and cheaper form of heating and cooling that one does not usually find in a vehicle of this sort?

Maybe I'll just sit quiet tonight.
