Multi-Tasking

Most people if they take time to look at me, may think I'm pretty sedate. Truth is, there's a lot going on in here. As I was telling someone just today, I usually work on several things all at once in my mind. For instance, at this moment I'm working on three seperate hypnotic scripts, two trains of thought for one innovation, and a something else altogether. And I consider this a slow day.

Four Agreements

Agreement 1

Be impeccable with your word
- Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

As a hypnotist, I know that words are power.

Agreement 2

Don’t take anything personally - Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

This one is difficult for me.

Agreement 3

Don’t make assumptions - Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

Another hard one for me to follow.

Agreement 4

Always do your best - Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

This I do regardless. (smile)

What the New Year Brings

Well, I've completely fallen off the ball with keeping up here. But, that's because ever since the 5th of January ana and I have been helping a friend of ana's get her new house patched up and moved in to. Last Thursday the furnace quit at her old house and ana had to help her move lock, stock and kid over to the new house at the wee hours of the morning. Saturday was the move, and it rained the whole day. But, she's in now, and we've only got a couple more trips between the old place and the new, and she'll be all in. Then maybe I can get back to writing.

On a personal level, the new year has brought a few frustrations that I hope are not a foretelling of how the year is going to go. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thought For The Day

The final belief is to believe in a fiction, which you know to be a fiction, there being nothing else. The exquisite truth is to know that it is a fiction and that you believe in it willingly.

A New Year

As you may or may not have noticed my belief system is of a Greco-Roman bend. I'm also an avid worshipper of the female form. My first ever idol of this form was the Goddess of Willendorf. I've long since lost that first idol, but have a smaller version now, carved from amethyst. She'll be getting a very special place soon, as I'll be creating a house shrine out of clay and she'll have her own niche.

In keeping with my belief system, I offer the following as a way of greeting the new year and getting it off to a proper start:

"Father Janus, God of Beginnings, Keeper of the Door, in offering you this sacrificial cake and wine I ask for your kindness in the coming year and that you look favorably on all the endeavors I, my family, amd my friends begin."
